J-CAN Transport Service is a Perth-based family business. Established in 1988 with a single truck and trailer, they have grown to a fleet of several prime movers and trailers ranging from 25 to 100 tonnes.
They specialise in the transport of over-dimensional machinery, plant and equipment and heavy haulage to the mining and construction industries.
The Challenge
The team at J-CAN Transport was in desperate need of help. Their website had not been updated in over a decade and their website and hosting provider had all but disappeared leaving them unable to update their website or access their email server.
After relocating their business premises and updating their business systems, they needed to also update their website, contact information, local directory citations, and importantly their hosting and server which included their email hosting.
The longer they left it the more critical it was to have their digital marketing and online presence updated to continue delivering their high-quality service.
The Solution
To fully understand the depth of the issue, the Cheeky team performed a full data + tech analysis to understand the existing platforms, domain, CMS, and hosting services.
After consideration, we determined that we’d perform a full hosting migration to an Australian-based hosting provider, rebuild their website in WordPress (previously Joomla) and provide ongoing website management and server support and a search engine optimisation program to get them back up and competing in the heavy haulage space.
